Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Fort Myers, FL, serving K-12 students across multiple school locations. This contract position runs from January 5, 2026, through June 1, 2026, with a workload of approximately 37.5 hours per week. Part-time options may also be considered.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Florida teacher certification and/or state license in speech-language pathology
- Certification as an SLP-CCC or eligibility as an SLP Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF)
- Open to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) under supervision by licensed SLPs
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy services to students in grades K-12
- Manage caseloads that will vary depending on assigned school site, with most placements in the East Zone (Lehigh Acres area) and some near Lexington Middle School
- Collaborate with educators and other school professionals to support student communication needs
- Maintain compliance with all applicable educational and licensure requirements
- Supervise SLPAs if applicable
